As a result of your protection on my windows I was lucky enough for the glass not to be penetrated and therefore nothing was stolen. Yours sincerely, Hayley Goldberg | | | ROVER 75 CONNIOSSEUR |  This letter serves to confirm of the incident which occurred last night at around 10:45 pm, driving home on the M1, after taking the off ramp onto Grayston Rd, at the robot, waiting for the light to change green, also waiting were 2 cars on the side and one in front of my car. What I and two passengers in my car noticed was a most suspicious man running towards my car and then several very loud impacts on the side of the passenger’s seat window. Most fortunately having your recommended security film, which was fitted all round the vehicle, prevented the glass now shattered from falling in even after the man tried to shove the now shattered glass in with his elbow, no penetration into the vehicle was made, therefore not allowing a far worse incident to occur. I write to you to inform you of an incident which occurred on the 30th September 2000 which has left me with only praise and admiration for your product. It all started on the Saturday morning when I was delivering a new delivery vehicle to our Pietersburg branch. At approximately 09hOO I was travelling at ± 120kph north on the N1 motorway on the outskirts of Pretoria, (between Stormville and Zambezi Drive off ramps) when the most alarming thing happened. There was a sharp noise of breaking glass, at first I thought that the Canopy had fallen off the vehicle, but after collecting myself I saw the damage, the passenger side window had taken a direct hit form a projectile of some sort, possibly a small caliber fire arm, pellet gun or slingshot.  This is where your product came into its own as the laminate had repelled the projectile and in fact held the shattered window in place which allowed me to drive a further 15 km to the safety of a Petrol Stop, as it is ill-advised to stop directly alongside the motorway. After stopping and gathering my composure I was still able to complete my journey to Pietersburg with the window in place. Finally I am sure I will never know what hit the window but suffice to say I am glad that I am able to write this letter to you without any personal injury and that a possible attempted Hi-jack or worse had been averted and I believe that it is thanks to your product that it is so. Jean believes her miraculous escape is due to having special bullet-resistant security window laminate fitted on her car windows. This safety precaution prevented four .38 bullets pumped into her car from reaching their target. "It saved my life," she said simply. "I was driving into the parking area when I suddenly saw the terrified face of the gate guard frozen in panic. I reacted immediately by speeding inside and hooting like mad to alert everyone. "The amazing thing is the selfsame men were seen brazenly hanging around the premises later the same day and the following Monday. They must have an "order" out for Volkswagen Golfs," said Jean. In the meantime all the employees are now armed with panic buttons and Jean's car has had the windows replaced complete with lifesaving laminate! | | | Mr. Arthur Helders |  I drive a BMW 320D which I had fitted with the Defence Concepts Security Window Laminate. On Tuesday night the 21 May 2002 at approximately 18h30, at the robot after the Queen Elizabeth bridge traveling towards Simmonds Street in Johannesburg, someone attempted to hi-jack me. He had a steel dolly (used by the panelbeaters) in one hand and a knife in the other. He smashed the steel dolly into the windows about 5 times. The windows shattered but stayed in place.
